Metsä Spring has appointed Jarkko Tuominen, M.Sc. (Tech.), as VP, Projects as of 1 September 2020. In this new position he is responsible for the project focused on developing new 3D fibre products.
Mr. Tuominen joins Metsä Spring from Metsä Board, another Metsä Group entity. Before joining Metsä Spring, he has worked for over 20 years in different management positions at Metsä Board, in other companies within the same field and in management consulting.
Metsä Spring is Metsä Group’s innovation company. Metsä Spring invests worldwide in promising young enterprises (startups) and conducts R&D activities also on its own. All ideas within the Metsä Spring portfolio must have a strong link to the Metsä Group business ecosystem. Hence, the goal of Metsä Spring is to strengthen the ecosystem in the long run.
